Prabhakar, Rupa triumph

CHENNAI: Rupa Gurunath (8), with 36 points, and P.P. Prabhakar (15), with 41 points, won the President’s Shield golf tournament at the Cosmo-TNGF here recently in Division I and Division II categories respectively.

D. Vasu (16), with 36 points, on better second half score and Kalpesh Patel (13), with 40 points, finished second.

Other results: Division I: 1. S. Ramamirtham (11) 35 points (better half), 2. N. Chandrasekaran (11) 35.

Division II: 1. Markandeya Sarma (18) 37 (better half), 2. Parminder Singh (19) 37.
