Ganja seized, two arrested

Thiruvananthapuram: The city police seized one-and-a-half kilogram of ganja from Karippattikada, Chala, in the Fort police station limits and arrested two persons who were retailing the drug.

According to the police, the arrested were Sajith, 28, a resident of Bismi Nagar, Attakulangara, and Santhosh, 26, a resident of Karimadhom colony, Chala. The two were held by a special squad led by Circle Inspector, Fort, B. Harikumar on Monday.

Sajith and Santhosh were engaged in retailing ganja in the city, the police said. The two were produced in a court and remanded.
