Sheila meets PM on water issue

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the issue of water crisis in the Capital, even as a solution to the current problem looked possible with Haryana releasing its share of water. “We met the PM on Tuesday,” Ms Dikshit told reporters here when asked about the scarcity of water, the issue which was at the centre of a ruckus in the Assembly on Monday. She said discussions among officials of Delhi, Haryana and Central Water Commission are on to solve the issue of the state not releasing water to the national Capital. - PTI
