BANGALORE: Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha president Vatal Nagaraj has criticised the decision of the high-level committee for granting permission for 28 new projects in the State. In a release here on Tuesday, Mr. Nagaraj questioned the need for Governor Rameshwar Thakur to grant permission in a hurried manner. He sought details of the owners of the companies and the extent of land that has to be acquired. A meeting of opposition parties will be convened on Friday to discuss the issue, he said. — Staff Reporter
