House burgled

PUDUCHERRY: The police are on the lookout for unidentified burglars who took away around 10 sovereigns of gold and silver articles from a French national’s house at Mookambika Nagar near here.

According to the Reddiyarpalayam police, the incident occurred a few days ago when the person had gone to his relative’s house at Kuruchikuppam. The incident came to light after the inmates returned home on Tuesday.

The thieves had entered the house by cutting the window grills, the police said.
