BSNL shifts to MSC-based tech

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam telecom district has announced that the Wireless in local loop (WLL) technology phones working in levels 2010XXX and 2909XXX would be shifted from HFCL WLL technology to MSC- based technology from Thursday.

A BSNL release said there would no change in the telephone numbers and customers need to cooperate with the staff of their respective areas for incorporating the required changes in the programming of their hand sets.

Customers may contact SDE/JTO MSC WLL at 2554100 or 2524040 in case of difficulty in the process of change in the programming of hand sets.
