Students call off stir

KOLAR: With the Bangalore University authorities taking initiatives to solve the marks card fiasco, the students of Government College for Women here have called off the strike on Wednesday, the sixth day of the stir. They have launched the agitation demanding issue of marks cards and correcting the mistakes in them.

Among 824 students, 540 were given their marks statements in the presence of MLC and Syndicate member of Bangalore University Y.A. Narayanaswamy on Wednesday. — Staff Correspondent
