Dubai: An Indian woman allegedly stabbed her four-year-old daughter to death here and seriously wounded her other infant child. The woman also reportedly tried to kill herself, but survived, hospital sources said. The incident occurred on Tuesday, when the father of the girls was at work, family sources were quoted as saying by Khaleej Times. The family hailed from Kerala. The condition of the year-and-a-half-old girl was critical as she was suffering from multiple stab wounds. The motive behind the act was not known but family sources said the woman was mentally ill. — PTI
