Washington: Over 100 Indians, who allegedly faced “slave-like treatment” in a shipyard in the United States, have threatened to stage a “satyagraha” here if the Government of India did not take up their cause with the U.S. government. The protesters, who launched a “long march” from New Orleans to Washington — a distance of 1,500 km, on Tuesday, alleged that the Government of India failed to protect them. They are expected to reach here on March 26 to meet Ambassador Ronen Sen. — PTI
