Phagwara: A couple was killed but their 3-year-old son had a miraculous escape after their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle on Mehli-Mehtan-Phagwara bypass on Wednesday morning, police said. While the woman Jasbir Kaur (28) died on the spot, her husband Surinder Singh (30) succumbed to injuries at the local civil hospital. Their little son Gurwinder Singh escaped and landed safely after the unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle and sped off, they said.
