KOLLAM: Commencement of the SSLC biology examination on Wednesday got delayed at three schools in the district by 90 minutes following a mix-up of the question papers. Instead of question papers in Malayalam, the question papers meant for English medium were sent to these schools. The schools are Cheriyazheekkal VHHS, the Karunagapally Fisheries Technical School and the Klapana HSS. The Deputy Director of Education at Kollam was immediately informed about the development. Question paper sets in Malayalam were soon sent to the schools and the exams commenced by 3.30 p.m. Time was extended for these students. The authorities stated that the mistake had occurred at the packing stage.
