Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Assembly on Wednesday passed the budget by a voice vote. After department-wise discussions, the Appropriation Bill, moved by Chief Minister Raman Singh, who is also the Finance Minister, was passed by a voice vote. Before the bill was passed, the Chief Minister said the government has changed the face of Chhattisgarh in its four-year rule, and hoped the BJP would return to power. PTI
