Medical team visits girls hostel

BERHAMPUR: Administrative officials along with a medical team visited the residential high school for girls at Sankarakhol of Tikabali block in Kandhamal district on Wednesday to take note of continuing health problems of hostel inmates.

A hosteller was found alone on a road near the village in serious condition on Tuesday. She later died at local medical centre. Following this, villagers and a group of agitated women gheraoed the school. The medical team found that a large number of students of the school were suffering from gastro-enteritis and skin diseases.
