Vintage musical fest

Bangalore: “Rang De Basanti,” a three-day musical fest organised by the Sagar Caterers, will begin from Thursday at Gayathri Vihar in Palace Grounds.

The programme is set to bring back the glorious days of Bollywood legends Raj Kapoor, Naushad and Mohammed Rafi. A Mumbai-based group, Golden Greats, will be performing on all the three days. Speaking to the presspersons, Golden Greats convenor Kaushik Kothari said the festival will feature the singers performing some of the best numbers created by the triumvirate of Raj Kapoor, Naushad and Mohammed Rafi.

Performances start at 6 p.m. and go on into the night.

Tickets, priced at Rs. 500, Rs. 400, Rs. 300 and Rs. 200, are available at the venue as is food.
