BJP plans dharna

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Bharatiya Janata Party will lay siege to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 50,000 people on March 31 highlighting the failure of the government in providing houses to the poor under Indiramma scheme.

“It will be a massive dharna and will continue till the government comes out with a paper on the entire process and the number of beneficiaries,” Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, president of GHBJP told a press conference on Wednesday.

He accused the government of misleading people with fancy advertisements while the reality is totally opposite. He said the government had released a fancy pamphlet promising one lakh houses in the city by the end of 2006. .
