Woman held for producing fake passport

CHENNAI: Immigration authorities at the Anna international terminal on Tuesday arrested a Nigerian woman for producing a fake Botswanian passport.

According to the authorities, Amsu Christianah Adetutu was about to board a Toronto-bound flight. Preliminary investigations revealed that she landed in Mumbai sometime ago, using her original Nigerian passport. As she was not able to get a visa to go to Canada, she got a fake Botswanian passport, the authorities said.

They also found her original Nigerian passport.
