City braces for long weekend

Hyderabad: Hyderabadi’s are in for a long weekend starting this Thursday with Milad-un-Nabi, the city will see a string of festivities.
Four days of sheer relaxation, what else could one ask for? The twin cities are all set to embrace the extended holidays with educational institutions, State and Central government offices being closed. Topping the list, school children will be happiest with the festivals being succession right from Thursday.
Starting with Milad-Un-Nabi, the birth celebrations of the Prophet on Thursday, the holidays will extend into Good Friday where Christians will spend a day in prayer.The next day, will see a riot of colours with Holi being celebrated with fervour and zeal. To top it all, Hyderabadi’s will get a chance to rest it out on Sunday after conclusion of all the festivities.
