MLA apologises to High Court

Hyderabad: Metpally legislator Komireddy Ramulu on Wednesday appeared before the High Court and apologised for not replying to its notices in time.

Justice N. Rama Mohana Rao issued notices to the legislator while dealing with a contempt case filed by Pociah. The petitioner complained that in spite of directions from the court he, being the councillor of Metapally municipality, was being prevented by the MLA from attending the meetings. When there was no reply to the notices, the court took a serious view. The legislator explained that he had no intention to avoid the court.
