Appeal on service tax

Kakinada: The Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax Department ordered that the service tax dues for the quarter ending March 2008, should be paid on or before the 31st of the month. Service tax paid in advance is allowed to be self-adjusted towards the service tax payable for the subsequent period, according to a press release by the Commissioner P.N. Rao. -Staff Reporter
