Resource persons on the warpath

BERHAMPUR: Resource persons working in different government engineering schools and women’s polytechnic institutes in the State are on ‘cease work’ agitation, seeking regularisation of their appointment as lecturers against existing vacancies.

In Berhampur, they staged a dharna in front of the women’s polytechnic.

They threatened to hold demonstration in front of the Assembly from Monday if the government did not heed to their jud demands by that date.

Seventy-two resource persons were working in 10 institutes since 1997 on consolidated pay structure.
