99 PU students debarred
Bangalore: Ninety-nine students were debarred for three years for malpractice during the English examination of the second year PU course on Thursday. According to an official press release here, the maximum number of cases was reported in Bagalkot (21), followed by 14 in Belgaum, 13 in Bijapur, nine in Gadag, eight in Gulbarga, five each in Raichur and Tumkur, four each in Haveri and Bidar, three in Koppal, two each in Bellary, Davangere, Mandya, Chickballapur and Mysore, and one each in Bangalore South, Kolar and Dakshina Kannada districts, the release added. — Staff Reporter
