JD(S) to contest all seats in polls

BANGALORE: The Janata Dal (S) will contest all the 224 seats and the elections will be fought under the leadership of H.D. Kumaraswamy, party general secretary Y.S.V. Datta has said.

Talking to presspersons here on Thursday, Mr. Datta said the party was trying to have an alliance with the Samajwadi Party, but the talks between S. Bangarappa and Mr. Kumaraswamy had not reached a decisive stage yet. — Special Correspondent
