HPL launches compact fluorescent lamp
HYDERABAD: The HPL group, noted for manufacturing switchgears, protection gears and electronic meters, on Thursday launched its compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) products in Hyderabad. With demand for CFL products on the rise, HPL officials evinced confidence of meeting the huge demand.
In the near future, HPL officials at media conference informed that the company will launch CFL technology based tube-lights. They claimed that that this would for the first time that fluorescent-based tube-lights would be introduced in India, “The demand for CFL products is over two crore in the country. Thanks to the efforts of Government, use of CFL products will continue to rise in future,” pointed out HPL General Manager (Sales and Marketing) S.K. Choudhary.
