Two young men arrested for theft

NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested in connection with a theft in a dry fruits shop at Lahori Gate here over the weekend.

According to the police, Bajrang Lal (24), who had been working in the shop for over a year, stole the keys to the shop and the strong-box from the shop-owner’s bag on March 15 evening. He along with his accomplice Kailash Yadav then allegedly made off with over Rs.11 lakh in cash from the shop the same night. Both the accused were arrested in their village, Madha, in Rajasthan.
