BANGALORE: In a usual feature before the start of a three-day weekend, all roads leading to Kempe Gowda Bus Stand and the city railway station were choc-a-bloc with traffic till late in the night on Thursday.

Some people were held up in the traffic jam up to 10.30 p.m. The traffic pile-up starting from Hudson Circle up to the bus stand began at about 9 p.m., said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Panduranga B.
