Emirates’ inflight mobile phone service

NEW DELHI: Emirates has commercially launched an inflight mobile service. The first mobile call was made from a commercial flight enroute to Casablanca on board Emirates Airbus A-340-300 aircraft, the first in its fleet to be equipped with the AeroMobile system. Emirates will be investing $27 million to fit its fleet with the AeroMobile system. — Special Correspondent
