MPPs seek increased honorarium

HYDERABAD: The AP State MPPs’ Forum represented to the government seeking extension to MPPs the enhanced honorarium of Rs.8,000 given to municipal chairmen vide GO 127. It also wanted implementation of the circular issued last year increasing the vehicular hire charges by Rs.1,000.

C. Venkatesh Mudiraj, president, said in a statement that forum leaders submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Panchayat Raj Minister J.C. Diwakar Reddy.
