Varanasi: Property worth Rs 3 lakhs was gutted in a fire, that broke out in a three-storey building in Nakkhas area of the city early on Friday, police said. According to the police, the fire broke out at around 1-30 a.m. due to a short circuit. Six fire tenders, which were rushed to the site, brought the fire under control within four hours, they said. Though no loss of life was reported, a fireman and a local resident received minor burns, they added.
