Annual convocation at IIM-K today

Kozhikode: The 10th annual convocation at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) will be held on the IIM-K campus at Kunnamangalam near here on Saturday evening.

A total of 177 students (2008 batch) will be awarded the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Two students would be awarded the Institute’s gold medal for academic performance and all-round performance respectively.

C.K. Prahalad, the man behind the ‘Bottom of the Pyramid’ concept, will be the chief guest and will deliver the convocation address. Mr. Prahalad a professor of Corporate Strategy and International Business and a globally recognised business consultant, had earned the first spot in the Suntop Media’s ‘Thinkers 50’ list.
