Protest

Bangalore: Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha leader Vatal Nagraj protested against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minster R.R. Patil for calling the Karnataka Government “dangerous than Pakistani soldiers.” Activists said that the Maharashtra Government have insulted both the Karnataka State and Kannadigas on the floor of the Assembly and also passing a resolution saying that some parts of Karnataka along the Maharashtra border be declared Union Territory. Protesters burnt the effigies of Maharashtra Chief Minster Vilas Rao Deshmukh, R.R. Patil and the Speaker. — Staff Reporter
