Seven hurt in clashes

KASARAGOD: Seven persons were injured in clashes between two groups at Choori here on Thursday night. A strong police force has been posted in the area.

The police registered five cases and took 60 persons into custody. The clashes followed a fight between two groups over local issues. The injured are N. Naveen Kumar (22), T.S. Harshad, P.A. Raffeeq, C.I. Sherif, Shabid Abbas (22), Farooq (22), Sitarama (27) and Nandit (26).
