Two killed

An unidentified woman aged about 40 years was fatally knocked down by an unknown vehicle on Tiruchi-Thanjavur national highway near Amman Nagar branch road close to Tiruverambur on Thursday night.

In another accident, Arulanandham (28) of Tiruppunthurithi, a two-wheeler rider, died after being hit by a private engineering college bus on Tiruchi-Thanjavur national highway near Palpannai circle on Thursday. The bus driver Kannan was arrested.
