New service by MTNL

NEW DELHI: Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has launched a new video phone calling service – V Spyk – that enables real time communication at a personalised level between two users. Launched in collaboration with Aksh Opti Fibre Ltd., the service will be available to all MTNL broadband subscribers in both Delhi and Mumbai . Launching the service here, MTNL (Delhi) Executive Director A. K. Arora said: “MTNL has always believed in providing the best of innovative services at an affordable price. We are the first company to launch this service in Delhi that would add a new dimension to the telecom sector.”

Giving details about the tariff plans for Delhi, Mr. Arora said subscribers who already have an MTNL broadband connection will have to pay only Rs.999 for this facility, while new subscribers will have to pay a total of Rs.1,300 for the package that includes both the broadband connection and the video phone calling facility.
