Two injured in clash

ATTUR: Police used mild force to disperse a group of people when it blocked the traffic at Kattukottai Puthur village, near Talavasal, on Saturday.
Police said two groups of people entered into a clash over an issue. Two persons sustained injuries in the clash and were admitted to the Attur Government hospital.
Members of one of the groups blocked the traffic on Vada Chennimalai main road demanding the arrest of persons who assaulted the two men. As the agitators refused to end the road blockade, police personnel used mild force to disperse the crowd. Revenue officials were holding talks with the two groups. Police rushed additional forces to the village.
