HPCL bags award

VISAKHAPATNAM: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has won the Petrofed Oil and Gas Award – 2007 under the category ‘Human Resources Management - Company of the Year’.

Petroleum Federation of India, an apex hydrocarbon industry association of around 50 organisations, has institutionalised the award.

Chairman and Managing Director of HPCL Arun Balakrishnan and Director-HR, HPCL, V. Vizia Saradhi received the award from Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Murali Deora in presence of Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas M.S. Srinivasan in Mumbai on Saturday.

The award was given to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited for its contemporary and progressive People Development initiatives and practices.
