BIDAR: Members of the Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishat’s (ABVP) district unit on Saturday burnt an effigy of the Union Government headed by the Congress, condemning its economic policies and the “failure” to curb the terrorist activities in the country. A press release from the ABVP said that the members condemned the UPA Government for its “failure” to control the rise in prices of essential commodities. — Staff Correspondent
