JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government has signed a memorandum of understanding with the computer design software company, Think Three, for establishment of computer-aided design laboratories in technical education institutions in the State. The company has agreed to provide the relevant software at nominal prices. State Technical Education Secretary G.S. Sandhu and Think Three vice-president Tom Davis signed the MoU in the presence of Education Minister Kalicharan Saraf here over the weekend. The company will also impart free training to teachers in the institutions for operating the software. Mr. Saraf said the MoU would not lead to any additional financial burden on the State Government, as both the software and the hardware would be bought by the technical education institutions on their own. Students getting training in the new laboratories are likely to avail of employment opportunities in a better way. The Minister said a total of 12 technical education institutions across the State had been selected for participation with Think Three at the initial stage.
