CHANDIGARH: The Haryana police have promoted 58 sub-inspectors, including seven women, as inspectors with immediate effect, according to Director-General of Police Ranjiv Dalal.

The promoted women officers are Shakuntla Devi, who has been posted in Karnal, Mithlesh Kumari in State Crime Branch, Roshni Devi in Faridabad, Sushila Devi in Hisar, Sushila Kumari in Panipat, Laxmi Devi in Panchkula and Surender Kaur in Commissionerate Gurgaon.

On promotion, Zile Singh has been posted at State Vigilance Bureau, Pishori Lal and Daya Nand in State Crime Branch, Jagdish Kumar, Ved Singh, Narinder Pal and Baljit Singh in Yamunanagar, Jai Mal Singh, Karan Singh, Nar Singh, Mahinder Singh, Ram Kumar, Balbir Singh and Pardeep Kumar in Rohtak, Ami Lal, Saffudin, Mohinder Singh and Subash Chander in Sonepat, Ashok Kumar, Mahinder Singh, Ajit Singh,Kulbhushan, Baljit Singh and Vinod Shankar in Panchkula, Amar Singh, Mohan Lal and Randhir Singh in Rewari, Karan Singh, Surinder Pal and Piara Singh in Hisar, Ranbir Singh in Jind, Raj Kumar, Ved Parkash, Anil Kumar and Ramesh Chand in Sirsa, Ram Phal, Narinder Kumar, Raj Kumar, Jagdish Chander, Hari Om and Hemant Kumar in Commissionerate Gurgaon, Hem Chander and Sanjay Kumar in Government Railway Police, Ajim Khan in Panipat, Narender Kumar and Rishi Pal in Jhajjar, Devi Lal and Preet Pal in Faridabad, Sadhu Ram in Narnaul and Kuldeep Singh at Recruitment Training Complex, Bhondsi.
