CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Technical Education Department has decided to conduct crash coaching classes in all the districts from March 24 to May 30 for students belonging to Scheduled Castes families who intend to appear at the All-India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and Diploma Entrance Test (DET). An official spokesman here disclosed that 42 centres have been set up all over the State to impart crash coaching to Scheduled Castes students for appearing at the entrance examinations of AIEEE and DET. The crash course for AIEEE would start from March 24 and would be conducted till April 24 for AIEEE-2008 to be held on April 27. The coaching for the DET would begin on April 1 and continue till May 30 for the exam to be held on June 1. The registration for these courses has already begun on March 20. The spokesman said the children of Scheduled Castes families who intend to appear for AIEEE and DET could join at the nearest centre. The coaching and learning material would be provided free of cost. For enrolment in these crash courses, the students would have to contact the coordinators appointed in all the districts. They would have to bring their Secondary, Senior Secondary and Scheduled Castes certificates for getting enrolment, he added. These centres have been set up at Ambala City, Ambala Cantonment, Naraingarh, Mullana, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Faridabad, Palwal, Gurgaon, Hisar, Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Jind, Narwana, Safidon, Kaithal, Ghula Cheeka, Kurukshetra, Shahbad, Pehowa, Karnal, Gharaunda, Indri, Nilokheri, Assand, Mewat, Narnaul, Panchkula, Panipat, Israna, Madlauda, Samalkha, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonepat, Ganaur, Guhana, Kharkhoda, Yamunanagar and Sadhora.
