Ten killed in road accident in A.P.

WARANGAL: Ten people were killed and five others sustained serious injuries when a tractor they were travelling in turned turtle near a hamlet on the Warangal-Narsampet highway on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred near Dusru thanda when the tractor driver was negotiating a curve. Eight persons were killed on the spot, while two others succumbed on their way to the hospital. The deceased and injured are yet to be identified.

The victims belonged to Moodu thanda, a tribal hamlet on the outskirts of Gollapally village in Nekkonda mandal. The locals pointed out that the driver had apparently lost controlwhile taking a turn.
