CHENNAI: The Rajya Sabha Member, Kanimozhi, on Saturday launched a short film featuring Tamil writer K. Raja Narayanan, whose life and story telling moments have been captured to educate the younger generation on the importance of upholding values in life. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Kanimozhi said the film captures the spirit of villages and the life of villagers and how Mr. Raja Narayanan had made a mark in story telling and through letter writing. Cine Actor, Sivakumar, said the short film on “Ki Ra’s Fountainhead of Creativity” sharply brings out the imperative need for protecting the aged and give them the due respect. D. Jayakanthan, Tamil novelist, said the timing of the release of the short film on Raja Narayanan of Idaiseval in Tirunelveli district was apt and would go a long way in bringing out the facets of the rural life. Rev. Fr. Jegath Gaspar Raj, Managing Trustee of Tamil Maiyam, had a word of praise for Vasanthi Prahaladan, the producer .
