New Delhi: More than 2,100 people were fined by the Delhi Police on Holi for violating different traffic rules, including drunken driving and jumping red lights. The Delhi Police issued over 2100 challans on Saturday , an officer said. The officer said 271 people were booked in the Capital during the Holi celebrations for drunken driving, while 443 red light jumpers were fined. Policemen, armed with Alcometers (breath analysers) were out in large numbers across the city to nab revellers driving on a ‘high’.
