Two killed, many injured in accidents

NEW DELHI: Two persons were killed and as many injured in separate accidents during the past 24 hours. Police said Mukesh, 25, was killed and Manak, 26, and his younger brother Santosh, 23, sustained serious injuries when their motorcycle hit the central verge near the Gazipur poultry market on Friday evening. The injured were taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where Mukesh was declared brought dead. All three are Blueline bus drivers. In the second accident, Shyam Sunder, 52, lost control of his motorcycle and rammed into the central verge near Lalita Park in Laxmi Nagar. He died on the spot.
