Call for all-party meet on High Court Bench

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The members of the Thiruvanathapuram Bar Assocation (TBA), who are on an indefinite-Satyagraha in front of the Vanchiyoor Court complex, has urged the State government to convene an all-party meeting at the earliest to discuss the setting up of a High Court Bench in the city.

They said the State government should take a delegation to meet the Prime Minister, President, Union Minister for Law and Sonia Gandhi, chairperson, UPA, at the earliest.

Meanwhile, the boycott call affected the functioning of various district courts.
