Leaders greet Christians

CHENNAI: The Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi, and leaders of other political parties greeted Christians on the occasion of Easter.

The Chief Minister said Christianity was a religion of service to people. That was so because Jesus Christ through his teachings and acts wished that people who loved him should be of service to fellow human beings.

The former Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, said with the blessings of Jesus Christ, religious harmony and humanitarianism should flourish in the world.

The PMK founder, S.Ramadoss, said the people should take a vow to promote brotherhood. — Special Correspondent
