Advani presents his book to PM, Sonia Gandhi

NEW DELHI: The former Deputy Prime Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader, L.K. Advani, on Saturday called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to present his newly released book My Country, My Life.

Earlier in the day, he called on Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence and presented her the book.

Mr. Advani, who was accompanied by his wife Kamala, was with both the leaders for about 15 minutes each.

The book, in which he records his version of the political developments in the post-Independence India, was released by the former President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, here on Wednesday.
