MYSORE: The eco-literacy campaign, an initiative of the People Science Forum and Mysore Environment Trust, which saw over 250 sessions with students and activists on the banks of Kukkarahalli Lake, will be revived from March 30. Described as a weekend community eco-literacy effort, the campaign was launched on October 1, 2001 by collecting the plastic waste at the shores of Kukkarahalli Lake and since then over 4,000 man hours have been spent on conservation efforts by citizens and volunteers striving to create a healthy water body.
