BIDAR: People living in low-lying areas in Bidar and other towns in the district faced a tough time on Saturday as rainwater entered their houses. At Pratap Nagar here, rainwater entered many houses at night causing inconvenience to the people. They shifted their belongings to a safe place. The rain forced shopkeepers in Bidar and other towns in the district to down shutters. In some places of Bidar district, power supply was disrupted. Low-lying areas such as Maniyar Talima Pathan Galli, Pratapnagar and surrounding areas in the city have been inundated.
