Houses damaged

DAVANGERE: Heavy rainfall affected life in Davangere city on Sunday. The showers started early in the morning and continued all through the day. Low-lying areas were inundated and people who tried to pass through waterlogged areas were seen repairing their vehicles. Very few people were seen at the weekly market held behind the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Many residents opted to remain indoors. According to official sources, over 20 houses were partially damaged.
