Powerloom weavers continue strike

NAMAKKAL: Weavers of powerlooms in and around Komarapalayam struck work for the second consecutive day on Sunday demanding higher wages.

The weavers, numbering around 50,000, refrained from operating looms. Only looms that carried out export works alone functioned in the area.

They also decided to meet the Collector in this regard.
